Showers For Couples - The "Jack and Jill" Party

The Jack and Jill wedding shower includes both the Bride and Groom and can be themed to accommodate the common (or separate) likes of each individual.

For the couple who is planning a beach wedding, they most likely have a love affair with the ocean, sun, tropics and hot, summer weather. Having a shower for them should include some beachy themed items and an invitation such as the one below that has seashells (jingle shells) as the background image and a silhouette of palm trees.

A luau theme would be nice with island type food and if the shower is held on a warm evening, hang lanterns and decorate with fake hibiscus flowers – or real ones if you are so inclined! Do you know anyone who has surfboards to lend?
