Get a Head Start on Wedding Planning During the Holidays
Even though the Christmas season is busy and hectic, if you are also planning a wedding in the Spring or next summer, it’s a good idea to work on that over the holidays too.
Once all the shopping and festivities are over and done with, brides begin seriously thinking about their weddings and once the new year begins, there is a run on wedding shops!
I know from experience in helping brides-to-be (and many times, their mothers) create wedding stationery that it’s a very busy time. In Spring, and even late winter, all thoughts turn to wedding planning as most likely the date is fast approaching. It may take longer to have that special invitation made up, so don’t wait until the last minute.
It’s wise to begin with some of the wedding plans as far ahead of time as possible, even if it’s only the small stuff and if you are not responsible for the Christmas meal or hosting a party, some of your time could be used to do so. You’ll get a jump on the couples who wait until Spring to begin buying.
