Sea themed Rehearsal Dinner invites.

Seashell art adds something a bit different to these lagoon blue rehearsal dinner invitations that you can customize yourself. A large scallop shell in multi-colors decorates this designer card and all lines of text are made as templates so you will simply replace the example text you see with your own.

I have added this design to metallic ice paper and that will give it a slight shimmer. Of course, you may opt for any paper type, including our most affordable “basic” paper. The background color will remain greenish blue and is only affected slightly by some of the paper types.

It’s a good idea to have a wedding program for guests to reference during the ceremony.  Unless the wedding will be very short, small, or private, a program is needed, and even then, it’s always a good idea to use the program as a place to say “thank you” and acknowledge special people.

The ceremony program itself can be set up in various ways.  Depending on how much information must be included, you will have the choice of a folded program with four sides available to add text, or maybe a small, flat card will suffice for your private event.

There are also the tri-fold programs, which also are called z-fold and accordion style.  All text is printed on one side and then it will be folded into thirds and presented to guests as a long, slim program.  The advantage to this type of program is that when unfolded it can reveal a pretty background covering all three sections.

Ceremony programs can take on any look you and your sweetie wish.  Summer brides sometimes fashion their programs to mimic the look of a fan attached to a handle so guests can fan themselves while watching the wedding if the day is especially hot.

They can be tied together with ribbons or raffia, or glued to sticks.  The program can have your photo on the front, and be as fancy or as plain as you want.  Typically, the progression of the ceremony will be listed with songs, music, and special happenings – like the unity candle or sand ceremony – and special parts will be explained so guests will know what is going on.

Add any additional information guests need to know, such as where the reception will be held (if not previously noted, or do it anyway in case guests forget!) and mention whether or not photography is allowed during the service.

Most programs use some part to list the names of the parents and relatives of the bride and groom, and also the wedding party (attendants), the pastor or minister (officiant), organist, wedding planner, and anyone else who needs special recognition.
